Seta Oil Test Centrifuge 'Plus' incorporating Setafuge Hazard Reduction System
|
|
Part Number 90000-0
Designed and manufactured exclusively for Stanhope-Seta by Heraeus Instruments. The 90000-0, when used with the appropriate accessories, complies with the centrifuge requirements of the above methods, and now INCORPORATES THE UNIQUE SETAFUGE HAZARD REDUCTION SYSTEM.
The use of a centrifuge in conjunction with volatile samples or samples with added solvents, at elevated temperatures, can result in the production of vapours which may be hazardous (flammable and/or toxic).
SETAFUGE greatly reduces the risks associated with build up of potentially explosive vapours by extracting these from within the centrifuge chamber and venting to safety.
A swing-out rotor head accommodates four buckets for 8 inch conical, 6 inch conical, 8 inch trace sediment or pear-shaped borosilicate glass centrifuge tubes. Supplied complete with rotor but excluding buckets. Speed, temperature, timing and the relative centrifugal force (RCF) are microprocessor controlled, and programmable via touch key pads with digital displays. A controlled isothermal bowl heater holds the temperature between ambient and 70°C
.Speed is electronically controlled up to 2800 ±100 rev/min. Features programmable spin duration in the range 1 to 99 minutes, or quick run mode 1 to 99 seconds. Meets BS 4402 safety requirements and is equipped with electronic braking system, safety interlock, vibration detector and cut-out. For floor standing option, use Trolley 90009-0.
