The FOXBORO MIRAN 1a-CVF
is a variable filter infrared analyzer designed for total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) analysis. Prior to analysis,
the sample requires preparation by a Freon extraction procedure.
Methods are available for oil and grease in water, hydrocarbons in water and TPH in soils.
